About Me: I'm a single mom of two children. My son is 19 and daughter almost 15. Waiting on the Lord for a very special something that I have been very impatient in the past about.

Interests: I love to cook, garden, floral design, work with the elderly, and pretty much anything outdoors.

Current Prayer Requests: I feel like I'm starting my life over. I know God wants to heal me of a lot of hurts and pains. I feel a calling on my life. Before I can pursue that calling I need my heart, soul and mind to be open to accept that healing. I pray for wisdom and understanding to carry it through. I pray for him to send people across my path and doors to be opened to start my new beginning.

God is Awesome in all situations!

Praise God! My 15 yr old daughter and I were having some trouble getting along. She was going to her father's to live Saturday. I invited her to go to Bible Study last night with me. We hadn't spoke for 2 days. At first she said no. Then she decided to go. Last night she received Christ as her Lord & Savior. “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18)

A lot of things exist because believers permit them to. They just don’t do anything about them. Sometimes they don’t know they can do anything about them.

Several years ago I was meditating and studying on the authority we have when I sensed the Lord challenging me. I’d been praying for my oldest brother to be saved for about 15 years. I’d often fasted and prayed 3 days at a time. But he’d get worse instead of better. I’d pray, “God save him.” But nothing ever happened. As I lay across the bed studying this particular day I heard the Lord in my spirit challenging me,” You do something about that situation. You’ve got the authority. You’ve got My Name.”

I rose up off that bed and said, “In the Name of Jesus Christ, I break the power of the devil over Dub’s life. And I claim his salvation and deliverance.”

In less than two weeks I got word that Dub had been born again.

Confession: Jesus said that heaven backs us up in whatever we believers prohibit or permit. In Jesus’ name I prohibit, or bind, the work of the enemy. And in my realm of operation.

“We do discuss ‘wisdom’ with those who are mature; only it is not the wisdom of this world or of the dethroned Powers who rule this world, it is the mysterious Wisdom of God”

God’s Word teaches that Satan and evil spirits are rebel holders of authority, and that they have been dethroned by the Lord Jesus Christ. Notice how Moffatt’s translation calls them, “dethroned Powers who rule this world.”

God made the earth and the fullness thereof and gave Adam dominion, or authority, over all the works of His hands (Gen 1:27,28; Ps 8:3-6). Adam had dominion on the earth; he was the god of this world. When he committed high treason and sold out to Satan, Satan through Adam became the god of this world (see 2 Cor 4:4) and a rebel holder of Adam’s authority.

But the Bible calls Jesus Christ the last Adam (1 Cor 15:45). He came as our representative man, as our substitute, and defeated Satan! He didn’t do it for Himself He did it for us! All that Jesus did belongs to us.

We believers are to remember that we are in the world but we’re not of it. Satan’s not to dominate us. We are to dominate him. We can dominate him. We have authority over him. Jesus defeated him for us.

Confession: Jesus has dethroned Satan and all his cohorts for me. Satan cannot dominate me. I dominate him. Jesus gave me authority over Satan and I will use it.
