I dont believe God is punishing them, but i do believe that the things they have been involved in have invited some pretty dark things in to their environment and families. But regardless, Haiti needs our love and prayers and even our finances! I believe God allows things to happen so that he can begin new things in our lives. And I believe that we are going to see some newness hitting Haiti, a refreshing. God loves Haiti and wants to see healing, restoration, and refreshing hit them harder than the earthquake did!!! And I'm believing for that!!!!

Heres a simply truth, and I'm going to take a risk and be bold with this...

Much of what we see happen to people and places, obviously not all things, is a result of choices WE have made. For instance, when we decide to turn on the computer and start seaching pornography, we are inviting a spirit of love and ultimately a spirit of depression into our lives. If we look at all aspects of our life as land and property, we could say that by choosing to travel down those roads we are giving the enemy land. When the enemy takes up residence on those peaces of land, we begin seeing the results of that come out in our lives. Sometimes its changes within ourselves, sometimes its a circumstance that arises.

The earthquake that devastated Haiti was a horrible thing, But God is using it to bring healing and refreshing to a place that had become dark and stagnant. I dont believe for a second that God made that disaster happen, thats not His character, but i do believe he allows things to happen that will ultimately push us in the direction of His love and healing. The verse that says "by His stripes we are healed" doesnt just apply to healing of the body. By His stripes we are made whole!!!

I dont rejoice over the loss of life and pain, but i do rejoice because God is pouring out refreshing and healing and above all LOVE!!!!

I say it's a coincidence of events. watching the news last night, I heard about some "unfortunately famous" (in the way he is famous) that was trying to steel from them. I think that they are just being taken advantage of in some ways because they are a very poor country. But I don't think that God would send the earthquake as a punishment to them because He is a loving God and I can't see Him doing that to an entire nation of people that are innocent under His Name. yes, He punishes, He punished His own nation of Israel, but they were not really innocent under His Name.

We can look at the situation in so many different angles! i am an African American and we make up 14% of Americans. We are free, but sometimes i feel we are suppressed.

The Haitians are really African Haitians! they were enslaved, they fought for their freedom, no one wanted to trade with them, they had a few dictators that cheated the Haitians and kept that country poor.

I also look at the situation in African. i honestly feel like we have gotten the sour end of the stick. But with long suffering comes great praises and, all i can say is i give all praises to God.
in the book of revelations it speaks about how some things has to come to pass.
